Islamabad Literature Festival 2024

Islamabad Literature Festival (ILF) is a vibrant celebration of books, ideas, and cultural dialogue bringing together writers, artists, and readers from across the country. Organized by Oxford University Press, ILF has become a space where stories are shared, conversations sparked, and creativity comes alive.

SCOPE OF WORK

The scope of work involved overseeing digital coverage and visibility for the Islamabad Literature Festival for the second year in a row. Our focus was on live event updates, media coordination, and content creation for OUP and festival partners. This included:

CHALLENGE

Executing the Islamabad Literature Festival 2024 meant managing a large venue with multiple simultaneous sessions while keeping the digital audience engaged. Connectivity limitations and attendee hesitation added extra complexity to capturing the full event experience.

01

Connectivity
Issues

Low internet connectivity made it difficult to maintain real-time digital updates.

02

On-Ground Coordination

Simultaneous sessions across a large venue made it hard to coordinate speaker interviews.

03

Challenges in Securing Testimonials

Many attendees were reluctant to record testimonials, making it difficult to gather diverse on-camera feedback.

SOLUTION

We addressed these challenges through proactive planning, on-ground engagement, and adaptive digital strategies.

Timely
Updates

Overcame internet issues with backup plans for timely online updates

Multi-Session Coverage

Managed coverage across multiple sessions in a large venue

On-Site Engagement for Testimonials

Encouraged testimonial participation through on-ground engagement. Ensured strong digital presence for OUP.
