Optimize Digital proudly captured the first-ever provincial STEAM competition in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, held at Lady Griffith School, Peshawar. Organized under the ILMpact programme,a British Council initiative implemented by PAMS, the event marked a major milestone in Pakistan’s evolving education landscape.

Students from across KP, including Mansehra, Swabi, Shangla, D.I. Khan, Buner, Battagram, Charsadda, and Peshawar, came together to present their work. With 167 innovative projects developed through over 1,050 STEAM learning activities across 120+ schools, the competition highlighted the region’s growing focus on creativity and practical learning.

From origami engineering models and math-based games to recycled innovations and balloon-powered cars, the event was a showcase of real talent. It reflected how students are developing problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and innovation through STEAM education.

As the official coverage partner, Optimize Digital handled everything from videography and photography to participant testimonials. Our team worked behind the scenes to capture every key moment, ensuring the energy, creativity, and impact of the event were documented seamlessly.

The event was attended by Faisal Tarakai, Minister for Labour, who emphasized the government’s commitment to education, especially female participation in learning and innovation. His remarks reinforced the importance of initiatives like ILMpact in shaping the future of students in KP.

This competition wasn’t just an event, it was a glimpse into the future of education in Pakistan. And Optimize Digital was proud to bring that story to life.
